Wells Fargo to Launch Quick Access Screen for Mobile Banking and Payments

May 10, 2018, Written By Lynn Oldshue

Wells Fargo will soon introduce a new feature on their mobile app called Pay with Wells Fargo. This is an alternative version of the home screen that places a user’s most-accessed features in one location.

The screen can be customized with options like Transfer Money, Pay Bills, or Send Money with Zelle. It will also show account balances for checking and savings.

The bank will launch Pay with Wells Fargo among its employees later this month. The bank’s customers will have the opportunity to use it later in the year. Initially, the screen will include mobile wallets, mobile check deposits, Zelle, Card-Free ATM Access Code, and money transfers. The bank says these features get the greatest use by their consumers. In future developments, other features can be added or removed from the screen to fit each customer’s needs.

Wells Fargo will also integrate their Control Tower services into the Pay screen. The Control Tower provides a comprehensive view of where a card and bank account information is stored online. This is most helpful in the case of recurring payments and subscriptions. Users will be able to disable monthly payment agreements directly from Pay with Wells Fargo.

The bank currently collects charitable donations through their ATMs, but will expand the app to support donations as well. “Soon customers can donate to a charity of their choice right from the Wells Fargo Mobile app.”
