Texas-based American Airlines is one of the world’s largest airlines, so chances are good you may need to board one of their planes in the future.

If the airline is your first choice, there are two American Airlines credit cards offered to non-business consumers.

American Airlines AAdvantage MileUp℠ Card

The American Airlines AAdvantage MileUp℠ Card is one of the few no annual fee airline credit cards on the market. Cardholders will earn 2 AAdvantage® miles for every dollar spent at grocery stores (including grocery delivery services) and on eligible American Airlines purchases. All other purchases earn one AAdvantage® mile per dollar. Additionally, cardholders can save 25% on in-flight food and beverage purchases when they use their card. New cardholders can earn 10,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles and a $50 statement credit when they spend $500 within the first three months of opening their account. The card has an APR of 17.49% - 25.49% (Variable).
