Target Brings Same-Day Delivery to 47 States
There are two ways to pay for same-day delivery with Target. Shoppers can choose to pay a flat rate of $9.99 per order, or an annual membership fee of $99. Walmart recently rolled out a similar service, but they require no membership fee for next-day delivery.
There are over 65,000 products in Target’s dedicated same-day delivery site. Products range from grocery items to personal care to office supplies.
Shoppers can pay for their transactions using a REDCard. This provides an additional 5% off. Target is currently offering a four-week free trial for Shipt, along with a $15 gift card if the first purchase is over $100. This promotion is available through June 15, 2019.
Buyers can make changes to their orders up to one hour before delivery. They can also check the status of an order through the Shipt app or website. This shows when the order is opened, claimed by a personal shopper, collected, processed and delivered.
