Southwest Airlines Offering Double Points on Frequent Flyer Program

Southwest Airlines announced it will offer double points on its Rapid Rewards program for flights booked and flown between today and May 15, 2013. The promotion requires customers to register for the promotion online at

In its Nationwide Double Points Promotion, Southwest is offering 24 points (instead of the standard 12 points) per dollar spent on Business Select Fares, 20 points (instead of ten points) per dollar spent on Anytime Fares, and 12 points (instead of six points) per dollar spent on Wanna Get Away Fares.

Southwest is also offering double Tier Qualifying Points on every flight you take into or out of Milwaukee. To qualify, register between February 4, 2013 and May 15, 2013  (You will be automatically registered for both promotions), then book your flight between those dates.

The offer is only valid on new reservations only and it must be booked on,, or any Southwest Airlines distribution channel.
