Quicken Launches Co-Branded Mastercard with Integrated Budget Planning

The finance management company Quicken has launched a new co-branded credit card. The Quicken World Mastercard connects with the Quicken mobile app to help users track their spending and stay in line with their financial goals.

The card comes with a sign-up bonus. Users who spend $500 in the first 90 days earn a free one-year subscription to Quicken Deluxe. This retails for $29.99 to $49.99 per year, depending on current promotions.

Cardholders can earn double rewards points for grocery purchases, dining, and recurring bill payments. This includes payments for Quicken software subscriptions. All other purchases earn one point per $1.

Rewards can be used to pay for travel accommodations, gift cards, Quicken products, and merchandise, or can be applied as a statement credit. Statement credits do not count toward the minimum monthly payment due on the card.

The Quicken card, backed by US Bank, comes with no annual fee. The APR ranges from 15.99% to 24.99% based on credit worthiness.

The card is equipped with contactless payment capabilities. Instead of dipping or swiping, cardmembers can hold their card up to the reader to process a payment. This feature is only available for readers with the contactless logo.
