PF Chang’s Investigates Possible Card Breach

Another well-known company has been the possible victim of a debit and credit card breach.

PF Chang’s China Bistro, which operates restaurants throughout the country, reported Tuesday that they are investigating a card breach that may have occurred from March through May of this year.

According to KrebsOnSecurity, card information was put up for sale on Monday on a website used by criminals,  This was the website where compromised cards first appeared after the Target breach.

“P.F. Chang’s takes these matters very seriously and is currently investigating the situation, working with the authorities to learn more,” said a PF Chang’s statement. “We will provide an update as soon as we have additional information.”

In addition to Target, major security breaches have recently occurred at Neiman Marcus, Sally Beauty and Michaels.
