MasterCard and Launch New Payment Option

The new option called Take-A-Payment provides a faster way for consumers and businesses to receive money from transactions on their websites.

Take-A-Payment is available for $9.95 a month plus 2.85% and 30-cents per credit card transaction. It utilizes MasterCard’s Simplify Commerce tools, which are less than a year old.

You do not need to work with to use Simplify Commerce tools. These can be incorporated into any web platform. simply offers a streamlined version of the tools for site owners to use on their hosting plan.

“Merchants are looking for a simple one-stop shop online payment. We make it very simple for merchants to get up and running,” Debbie Barta, Simplify Commerce Product Lead at MasterCard Labs, told Small Business Trends.

This is just one of the many examples of MasterCard’s efforts to expand its business in 2014. The company already earns money from the recently launched Google Wallet card by backing the financial transactions for the card. Look for other innovations from MasterCard in 2014.
