Lisa Frank Launches New Line of Prepaid Debit Cards

August 10, 2017, Written By Natalie Rutledge

Lisa Frank is known for creating colorful school supplies, posters and clothing, but now the company is taking on the payments industry. A new line of Lisa Frank prepaid debit cards has hit the market to help adults relive their childhood.

There are 16 card designs available, including ones with kittens, puppies, unicorns and dolphins. All of them are decked out with Lisa Frank’s signature color scheme. The cards are backed by Visa and can be used anywhere Visa cards are accepted.

The card requires a $9.95 monthly maintenance fee, but that covers up to three card accounts. If a parent wants to get three cards for her teenage daughters, the fee is still $9.95. The monthly fee will be waived for accounts that receive at least $1,000 in direct deposits in the first 30 days.

There are no ATM fees or balance inquiry fees when using a MoneyPass ATM. Those fees are typically $2.95 per transaction for out-of-network ATMs. There is no minimum balance that must be maintained on the card, and there are no overdraft or late fees.

There are multiple ways to add funds to the Lisa Frank debit card, including direct deposit, bank transfers, and cash deposits at select reload locations.
