JCPenney Now Accepts Apple Pay at All Retail Locations

JCPenney now accepts Apple Pay at all its retail locations. The company has over 1,100 stores across all 50 states.

The company also announced that their store credit card will now be available on the mobile wallet. This means people can use their JCPenney card directly through Apple Pay to earn loyalty points. According to the rewards terms and conditions, users can earn one point per $1 spent on their JCPenney credit card in stores or one point per $2 spent through another payment method in stores. In other words, someone can still earn rewards on their card if they pay with cash or another credit card, but only at half the value.

JCPenney is currently working on integrating Apple Pay with their iPhone and iPad apps. This feature will be “coming soon.”

To use Apple Pay in stores, simply select that as the payment option at checkout and follow the prompts to swipe your phone. To add a JCPenney card to Apple Pay, upload the card details into the wallet’s mobile device app.
