iPhone Users Gain Access to Isis Mobile Wallet
iPhone users no longer have to miss out on the convenience of the Isis Mobile Wallet, thanks to a new case offered by Verizon Wireless. Isis has long been available on select Android devices, but iPhones lacked the chip necessary to use the technology. This new case from Incipio bridges the gap.
Isis operates under a short-range wireless technology known as NFC or near-field communications. This allows the phone to communicate with a reader at the register so users can simply tap and pay for the items they need. The Incipio case gives a chip to iPhones that do not have one built in.
Cases cost $70 to $80, depending on the model of phone. Users can purchase a case through Verizon, either online or in their local stores.
To use the Isis mobile wallet, users must also download an app to their phone to make it compatible with the case. Then, they can operate the wallet just like an Android user. Isis is far from the only mobile wallet on the market today, but it is considered among the best because of the extensive number of credit cards it supports.
If you have wanted a mobile wallet on your iPhone, the technology is now available to make that happen.
