Google Offers Free Chromecast for Using Android Pay

Potential Android Pay users have a new reason to give the mobile wallet a try. Through the end of February, customers who make 10 or more purchases with Android Pay will receive a free Chromecast.

Chromecast is a streaming device that turns nearly any standard television into a smart TV. Users can watch movies, listen to music, and catch up on their favorite shows, all through a simple dongle that plugs into an HDMI port. The dongle communicates with an app on a phone or tablet, where users can select what they want to view on their television.

While the dongle itself is reasonably priced at $35, the current “Tap 10” offer gives current and near-future Android Pay users the ability to get one for free.

The purchases must be spaced at least five minutes apart. You cannot purchase 10 times at a store as separate transactions and earn the rewards. The Tap 10 offer also comes with three free songs from Google Play, just to sweeten the deal. You may learn more about reward eligibility and other stipulations on the terms and conditions page at
