Dunkin’ Donuts Offers Mobile Orders & Self-Order Kiosks
Dunkin Donuts has introduced a new storefront that will make ordering ahead on your mobile device even faster and more convenient.
Located in Quincy, MA, the store will feature a dedicated pick-up area for those who ordered ahead on the DD Perks app. The Quincy location is also testing a drive-thru that would be used exclusively for mobile orders, which is a first in the United States. The store will feature kiosks where customers can place their order on a touchscreen.
In addition to these technological changes, the store will feature a new look and new coffees. The sign will read simply “Dunkin'” and drop the “Donuts.” The color scheme has also been shifted to lighter, more natural hues instead of the characteristic brown, dark orange, and bright pink.
The restaurant is also adding a tap system for cold beverages and will include iced coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee.
The Quincy location, which resides in the same city where the first Dunkin’ Donuts opened 68 years ago, is the first of at least 30 concept stores that the coffee and donut chain plans to open this year.
