Don’t Leave Home without Michael Jordan’s AmEx Card

Avid sports fans will pay for just about any type of memorabilia, but this item may surprise some people.

Michael Jordan’s expired American Express card will be put up for auction on October 10 by Goldin Auctions. The bidding starts at $1,000.

The Hall of Fame basketball player carried a green rewards card that expired in July 2005. It contains his name on the front, Michael J. Jordan, and his autograph on the back.

The West Berlin, New Jersey based auction company says that the card is “PSA/DNA Certified”.

Jordan’s credit card is one of 17 items up for auction. Others include an autographed bat from Joe DiMaggio, an autographed ball from the 1934 New York Yankees and an historical 1864 document signed by Abraham Lincoln.
