Consumers Paid $30 to Use Samsung Pay on Galaxy S7 Devices
Samsung is running a promotional offer through the end of March to encourage users to sign up for Samsung Pay. If you buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge and process a transaction with Samsung Pay, you will receive a $30 credit in your mobile wallet.
This money is not considered “cash back.” It has to be used at one of five retailers connected with Samsung Pay: Nike, eBay, Regal Cinema, Whole Foods or Best Buy. Fortunately, those merchants are available throughout the country and online, so consumers should have no trouble spending this $30.
This promotion is only available to customers in the United States, and is only for payments made on the new S7 devices. Users who already have a Samsung Pay-enabled device, such as the Galaxy S6 Edge, are not eligible for the promotion unless they upgrade to one of the new devices.
According to the offer details on Samsung’s website, users will receive a pop-up notification after making their first eligible purchase. They will then select one of these five retailers where their credit can be applied.
Bank of America cards are not eligible for this offer. You can learn more about this and other restrictions in the terms and conditions.
