Citi is expanding its travel rewards program. The company’s ThankYou Rewards Points can now be used to book hotels and other accommodations through

To use ThankYou Points on, members must first sign up for an online ThankYou account, as well as an account on the travel site. They can link their two accounts on and use their points to pay for some or all of their hotel bookings. The option to use the points will present itself during checkout. Whatever portion of the reservation is not covered by points can be paid via debit or credit card.

Expedia offers discounted room listings for more than 230,000 hotels worldwide, giving ThankYou members a wide spectrum of lodging options to choose from. Eligible cards include all Citi PremierPass/Expedia Card, Citi ThankYou Cards, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Forward Card, and Citi Chairman American Express Card, as well as AT&T Cards and Sunoco cardmembers with ThankYou Points.

Members must have an Expedia+ account in order to use their Citi ThankYou Rewards on the travel site. This account gives users access to special discounts and additional opportunities to earn rewards points for travel.

There is no fee for using ThankYou Points to shop on Should you need to request a refund for a booking you made with your points, the refund will be issued as points in your ThankYou account.
