Chase Sets New Records for TNS Choice Awards 2013

Chase Sets New Records for TNS Choice Awards 2013

April 19, 2013         Written By Lynn Oldshue

Research company TNS issues an annual report on the top banking and investment companies in America. Winners are chosen based on their ability to attract and retain new customers for the given year.

The 2013 TNS Choice Awards winners by category are:

  • Consumer Banking – Chase Bank
  • Premier Banking – Chase Bank
  • Direct Banking – Ally Financial, Inc.
  • Investment Services – Scottrade, Inc.
  • Small Business Banking – PNC Financial Services Group
  • Commercial Banking – PNC Financial Services Group
  • Corporate Banking – BB&T Corporation

Regional winners include:

  • East – Chase Bank
  • Central – Huntington Bancshares, Inc.
  • West – Chase Bank

Chase won four of the prestigious awards, more than any previous winner in history. The most any company from the past has won was two. Chase was able to bring in more new customers in 2012 than any other bank, and customers were more willing to switch to Chase than any other financial institution. Chase has been striving to improve its customer service and security for years now, and it appears as though those efforts have finally paid off.

Chase’s CEO of Consumer Banking, Ryan McInerney, responded to the award by saying: “We work hard to make our customers’ lives easier through customer service, convenience and technology. Customers do more business with us because they appreciate that we put their needs first.”

Barry Sommers, the CEO of Chase Wealth Management, continued this by saying: “We have put a lot of focus on serving our affluent customers. These customers expect a higher level of service and we’re extremely pleased that TNS’ research shows Chase provides that.”

If you are a Chase customer, this may help you feel a little more confident about your choice of banking institution. The TNS awards are likely to bring Chase even more customers in the near future.
