Chase Pay Partners with LevelUp for Order-Ahead Services at Restaurants

December 15, 2016, Written By Lynn Oldshue

Chase Pay users will soon be able to order ahead at thousands of quick-service restaurants throughout the country. Thanks to a partnership with LevelUp, customers can order food in advance at any restaurants that have Chase Pay or LevelUp-enabled scanners.

The order-ahead service is only available in Boston at this time, but will be expanded nationwide in the coming months. All participating restaurants are listed in the Chase Pay app, along with special offers provided exclusively for the mobile wallet.

Chase Pay’s expansion is available for both iOS and Android versions of the app. Users can complete payments when they place their orders, or can use Chase Pay at the registers. Chase Pay will automatically save order data so users can re-order their favorites with a single tap on their phones. The new feature allows diners to skip the lines and get their food quickly when they arrive at the restaurant.

For restaurants that are prepared for advanced orders, this could mean significantly more business opportunities in the future.

Restaurants can integrate their loyalty programs with Chase Pay so customers can still earn rewards for placing orders in advance. This may encourage more users to take advantage of the order-ahead service.
