Chase Launches New Tools for Saving and Budgeting

With New Year’s resolutions in full swing, Chase has launched a series of tools to help consumers save money and maintain a budget. The features are available through the Chase app or through the bank’s new website:

With the new Autosave function, users can automatically schedule money transfers from their checking to savings account. Customers choose the amount they want deposited for each transfer, as well as the frequency (weekly or monthly, as an example).

Using the Budget Builder, users can assess their monthly income and expenses to see where they should cut back on costs. This service is available to everyone, not just Chase customers.

Chase has offered free credit scores on its website since 2016, but the new Chase Credit Journey tool takes that one step further. Users now have access to complete credit reports, along with personalized tips on how to improve their credit.

Eligible debit and credit cardholders have access to Chase Offers, which launched in November 2018. This service provides discounts to restaurants and retailers throughout the country. The discounts are automatically applied as statement credits for qualifying purchases.
