Chase and Amazon Renew Co-Branded Credit Card Deal

Amazon has once again renewed its longstanding partnership with J.P. Morgan Chase for its co-branded credit card. The card, powered by Visa, allows Amazon customers to earn 3% cash back on purchases made on the website, along with a range of other benefits for frequent users.

The Amazon Rewards Card has been available since 2002, and the rewards program associated with it has grown tremendously in that time. Users can now earn 2% cash back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores, as well as 1% cash back on all other purchases. There are no limits to the amount of reward money a person can accrue, and the rewards do not expire.

Current cardholders should not see any changes as a result of this partnership renewal. Both Chase and Amazon are satisfied with their relationship and have chosen to continue working together moving forward.

Points earned on the rewards card can be used toward future purchases on, or can be used through toward gift cards, travel fees, and cash back in the form of a statement credit. Users can manage their card accounts through Chase and Amazon’s websites.
