CareCredit Partners with NextCare for Urgent Healthcare Financing

CareCredit Partners with NextCare for Urgent Healthcare Financing

February 28, 2017         Written By Lynn Oldshue

CareCredit and NextCare have teamed up to provide affordable financing for urgent care visits. CareCredit cardholders can now use their medical expense line of credit at over 130 NextCare emergency healthcare facilities.

CareCredit credit cards can be used for a number of medical expenses, from primary care to cosmetic procedures to veterinary bills and more. There are currently 10 million CareCredit cardholders in the United States. Approved applicants receive a fixed line of credit that can be used at any healthcare facility in CareCredit’s network. The card will only cover expenses not covered by insurance, and requires monthly payments like a traditional credit card. In a must-have medical situation though, this financing solution gives patients access to the services they need.

Interested cardholders can apply for a CareCredit card on the company’s website. The limit for the card and the monthly payments are based on a person’s credit worthiness and the way the card is being used. According to the website, the average American racks up $768 in primary and emergency care services per year.

There are other urgent care providers in CareCredit’s network, but most of them are local. NextCare is a widespread urgent care clinic with locations in Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming.
