Capital One Cuts Savor Credit Card’s Sign-Up Bonus
The [apply_card_button id=”51534″ linktoapp=”1″] is one of the best rewards cards on the market. But it lost a bit of its appeal today when the company cut its early spend bonus by 40%.
New cardholders who spend at least $3,000 in the first three months now receive a bonus of $300. Previously, that bonus was $500.
The [apply_card_button id=”51534″ linktoapp=”1″] still has tremendous appeal to those consumers who have good credit, which is considered a score between 700 and 749. In addition to the early spend bonus, the ongoing rewards can really add up: card members earn unlimited 4% cash back on dining and entertainment, 2% on purchases at grocery stores, and 1% on all other purchases. Plus, consumers earn 8% cash back on tickets at Vivid Seats through May 2020.
The card has an interest rate that ranges from 16.74% - 25.74% (Variable), depending on the cardholder’s credit. There are no foreign transaction fees, and the $95 annual fee is waived in the first year.
