American Express Serves Special Experiences to Food & Wine Classic Attendees
American Express announced it will be hosting a number of culinary events during the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, Colorado, which takes place from June 15 through June 17. Cardholders, chefs and restaurateurs will be given access to exclusive tastings, after-parties, performances and panels.
“Dining is a top interest of our Card Members, merchants and partners, which is why we continue to focus on providing culinary experiences, and delivering tools and resources to enable restaurants to thrive,” said Janey Whiteside, senior vice president and general manager of Global Charge Products, Benefits and Services at American Express. “At the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, we are delivering on both fronts through one-of-a-kind experiences, social events and other activities for Platinum Card and Starwood Preferred Guest Card Members, and also providing strategic business insights for merchants in the restaurant industry at the American Express Restaurant Trade Program.”
The premier events will include:
- Chef Stephanie Izard will host a tasting. Not only will food be served, but guests will also have access to a pop-up greenhouse from Gotham Greens, beauty services by DryBar and Olive & June, a Platinum gift bag curated by The Select 7, custom Platinum cocktails from Hella Cocktail Co., wine from Z Alexander Brown, a U.S. Open viewing suite and more.
- A guided meditation from The Big Quiet each morning.
- American Express will team with Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card Members to hold a party at St. Regis Aspen Resport, which will feature NoMad bar’s food and beverages. There will also be performances from Magician Dan White and DJ and electronic violinist Kat V.
- A forum for restaurateurs. This forum, which is now in its 28th year, features panel discussions with established chefs and restaurant owners.
