American Express Offers Cash Rewards to Boxed Customers

American Express announced that Boxed customers will receive free shipping and 3% Boxed Cash Rewards on up to $15,000 in purchases when they use their American Express Card at Boxed, an online and mobile bulk grocery store. The Cash Rewards will appear on the cardmember’s Boxed account, and can be used for future purchases.

The offer is good through August 10, 2017.

“We’re making sure our Card Members have great options for shopping in bulk with their American Express Cards,” said Christopher Cracchiolo, vice president of Membership Rewards and loyalty benefits at American Express. “With Boxed, our Card Members can shop from anywhere, have the items shipped to their door for free, and get Boxed Cash Rewards to use towards future orders, with a mobile-first bulk grocery retailer without an annual membership fee.”

American Express allows users to checkout at by signing in with their Amex login. A special offer launched in July gives American Express cardholders a one-time statement credit of $20 when they spend $50 or more at Boxed, and then sync and load the offer to their card by October 15.

“Boxed is transforming the warehouse shopping experience, making it relevant and accessible for new audiences, from young Millennial families to small businesses,” said David Taft, vice president of communications at Boxed. “We’re offering American Express Card Members a seamless, valuable and convenient time-saving experience, helping to keep their pantries stocked while freeing up time to enjoy more of what they love.”
