American Express Blue Cash Everyday Card Introduces Special Offer

American Express announced today that new Blue Cash Everyday cardholders can earn up to $300 cash back with a new wireless promotion, including 10% cash back (up to $200) on purchases made at U.S. wireless telephone service providers through the end of 2016.

Specific offer details include:

Top Features :No annual fee; $150 statement credit after spending $1,200 in first 90 days; 0% on Purchases for 12 months

  • New card members who apply by June 15 can earn $200 cash back when they spend $2,000 at U.S. wireless service providers through December 31, 2016.
  • New card members will also get $100 cash back after spending $1,000 within their first three months of membership.

“The Blue Cash Everyday Card is a no annual fee card that provides Card Members with cash back rewards on everyday purchases, including extra cash back at U.S. supermarkets, U.S. gas stations and select U.S. department stores,” said Jed Scala, Senior Vice President of Consumer Lending at American Express. “With this special offer, new Card Members can now earn even more cash back on their monthly cell phone bill or a much-awaited phone upgrade – all backed by the service and security of American Express.”

American Express’s Blue Cash Everyday Card carries no annual fee and offers cardholders 3% cash back at U.S. Supermarkets on up to $6,000 in purchases each year (after which, the rate decreases to 1% cash back). Card members also earn 2% cash back at U.S. gas stations, 2% at select department stores and 1% on all other purchases.

The cash back is distributed as Reward Dollars that can be redeemed as a statement credit.
