Teens Steal Credit Card, Then Pose with it in Photo Booth

June 19, 2013, Written By Natalie Rutledge

If you’re going to steal a credit card, the last thing you want is your face or name associated with the theft. Thus, it would be illogical to steal a woman’s credit card and then use it for a photo booth in a movie theater, right?

Sadly, that is what a group of Maryland teenagers did after they took a card from someone they didn’t know. Their photos were all the evidence police needed to issue an arrest warrant.

The woman, who had her card stolen on June 5, assumed she had lost it, until she noticed unauthorized charges on her account from a movie theater in Crofton, Maryland. The four teenagers used the card before piling into the photo booth, snapping four pictures of themselves that clearly associate them with the credit card.

Police have not been able to identify the suspects yet, but they are actively asking for leads. The photos have now gone viral on the internet, so it is only a matter of time before the four teens get the punishment they deserve. No information about other charges has been released at this time, but the account holder and the police are actively watching the account for more activity.
