Chase announced that their lucrative introductory offer on the Chase Freedom credit card will end in a week.

Through Wednesday, June 24, new cardholders can receive a $200 bonus once they spend $500 during the first three months of card membership. This is double the previous introductory bonus.

This is one of the most attractive credit cards in the Chase portfolio.

The Freedom card has a 0% APR on both purchases and balance transfers during the first 15 months of a consumer being a cardholder. The card has no annual fee and an ongoing APR between 13.99% and 22.99%, depending on your credit worthiness.

Freedom customers earn 1% cash back on all eligible purchases, plus 5% cash back on categories that revolve each quarter, up to $1,500 spent per quarter. During the third quarter of the year, card members will receive 5% back on all gas purchase as well as transactions made at Kohl’s. But cardholders must “activate” this feature or else they will not receive that added payout.

Cardholders can also receive an extra cash back when they shop online at certain merchants through Chase. In addition, they can earn a $25 bonus after they add the first authorized user and make a purchase within the first three months from opening their account.

Consumers need an excellent credit score in order to be approved for the Chase Freedom card.
