If your credit card APR has increased because of late paymnets, some cards, like Capital One, will allow you to earn back your prior rate by paying on time for 12 consecutive months.
They may not do this automatically, so check your payment history. If you have paid at least the minimum balance on time for the past year, contact your cardholder and ask for your previous rate. |
