Did you know that many credit card companies offer discounts on roadside assistance? Indeed, a number of issuers may offer this service at lower prices than your local automobile club or car manufacturer.

If you are ever in need of a tow, fill up or jump start while broken down on the side of the road, this could be an affordable alternative to investigate.

Each credit card company has a different rate they charge for their roadside assistance services. Some will offer discounts for services through other companies, and others handle the roadside assistance internally. Here are some quick links to programs you may want to look into:

Services may only be available for select cardholders, so make sure you know whether or not your card is considered part of the program.

If you already pay for roadside assistance, it may be in your interest to compare the costs of your current roadside assistance program and the one offered through your credit card company.
